I thought Big Mamma’s Boy was supposed to be a WA film, but it was shot in Victoria for some reason: the incumbent WA government not being noted for its support for cinema. Another bad thing is seeing Holly Valance (a model, not an actress) in a lead role in two films in one year – or in my case two nights! And because bad things come in threes, the Madman DVD I bought broke down during the end of the credits – as if the distributor wasn’t sincerely promoting this very ordinary film.
