
I found myself watching State of Play (Kevin Macdonald, 2009) with my iTouch between me and the TV screen, checking out the reviews – which all agreed with each other on this occasion, and which I found conceptually more interesting than the film. What I’m left with is a sense of responsibility that I haven’t bought a newspaper in over a week: so I’d better go and buy one this morning.
